The Montclair café will continue to sell fair trade teas and local products via its website, owner says.

The days of grabbing a cup of hot tea and relaxing with a book at the Montclair Public Library are coming to an end.

“It is with gratitude and appreciation for you - our patrons, our staff, our volunteers, and the library staff, trustees, and foundation members – that I am writing to tell you that Terra will be closing at the end of September. These almost ten years – five on Church Street and the others at the library - have been rewarding years, filled with countless gatherings, hundreds of cups of tea and coffee, lots of good food and laughter, and wonderful opportunities to share our passion for fair trade and local food systems. Together we have built community around food and fellowship.
“Terra will continue to sell our fair trade teas and local products through our website (www.terramontclair.com), and we may pop up for tea time and a fair trade holiday sale. Do stay in touch with us…email, Facebook and Twitter...to see what’s new and exciting.

“I will miss our cozy library spot and all of you but am looking forward to my next adventure. I take with me many cherished memories and friendships. We will soon post the date and time of our last day celebration and we look forward to seeing you then (or before).
“Thank you for all your support and continue to make the world a better place, one cup, one bite, one fair trade purchase at a time.”
