Theft Ends When Vehicle Gets Stuck: Montclair Police
Three people tried to steal a vehicle in Montclair, but mounted a curb and possibly got stuck, police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A vehicle was stolen and an attempt was made on another last week in Montclair, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the following incidents were reported in the township:
March 25 (Mountain View Place) – “The complainant reports that three individuals attempted to steal a motor vehicle from the rear of a house, but mounted a curb and possibly got stuck. The individuals then fled and were not located.”

March 26 Montague Place) – “The complainant reports that a motor vehicle was stolen from the rear of his property.”
