Thief Steals Double-Parked Car In Montclair: Police
Three motor vehicle crimes were reported in Montclair last week, including a stolen car, authorities said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Three motor vehicle crimes were reported in Montclair last week, including a stolen car, authorities announced Tuesday.
The Montclair Police Department released the following details about each incident:
Sept. 4 (Claremont Avenue) – A vehicle owner told officers that he parked his vehicle in his driveway. The following morning, he discovered that has wallet and a pair of AirPods were missing from inside the car. The AirPods were last tacked to Springfield Avenue in Newark.

Sept. 4 (Maple Avenue) - The victim reported that his 2021 BMW was stolen while double-parked on Maple Avenue. It was recovered on Sept. 6 in Newark.
Sept. 8 (Orange Road) - The complainant reported that his 2011 Nissan Rouge was entered while parked on Orange Road. He reported that his wallet and an electric scooter were stolen. Several unauthorized charges were made on his credit card at various locations in East Orange.
