Thieves Steal $1,200 In Meat From Montclair Supermarket: Police
Store personnel said they learned about the missing meat while conducting an audit, Montclair police reported.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Thieves recently stole about $1,200 in meat from a grocery store in Montclair, authorities said Tuesday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, management at King’s Supermarket on Valley Road reported the theft to officers on Dec. 4. Store personnel said they learned about the missing meat while conducting an audit.
Surveillance footage shows two men enter the steak aisle and remove 35 different items, then leave the store without paying, police said.
