Three Prominent Writers Talk About All Things Yankees
Jane Leavy, Dan Barry, and Will Leitch will be part of the "Damn Yankees" program on April 18

Three prominent contemporary writers will be talking about all things Yankees and the passions they stir at the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center on Wednesday, April 18 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The panel program includes Jane Leavy, author of best-selling biographies of Sandy Koufax and Mickey Mantle, Dan Barry, a national columnist with the New York Times, and Will Leitch, founding editor of Deadspin and now a writer with New York Magazine.
Each is a contributor of original essays to the just-released book, "DAMN YANKEES: Twenty-Four Major League Writers on the World's Most Loved (and Hated) Team," edited by former Sports Illustrated executive editor Rob Fleder.
DAMN YANKEES is a personal look at baseball’s most enduring team, essentially showing that what happens on the field is less important than how we render it our own. Essays from Babe Ruth to Derek Jeter are all superbly written and full of passion and humor.
