Toni's Kitchen Partners With Creativity Caravan For 2016 Montclair Holiday Event

From Toni's Soup Kitchen: Toni’s Kitchen, a soup kitchen and food ministry of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Montclair, is pleased to announce “Make Merry With Us!” a creative and fun holiday event for families in cooperation with The Creativity Caravan. “Make Merry With Us!” will take place on Saturday, December 10, at 1:30 pm at Toni’s Kitchen, 73 South Fullerton Avenue in Montclair.

Families can create a tiny book with The Creativity Caravan, bake and decorate holiday cookies and gingerbread houses, and make great holiday decorations at this free community event.

The Creativity Caravan is a mobile arts-centered organization based in northern New Jersey, whose mission is to spark, engage, and nourish creativity in communities everywhere. They host art workshops and programs centered on the joy of discovery and power of collaborative learning.

“We are pleased to partner with The Creativity Caravan for this wonderful holiday event,” said Anne Mernin, Director of Outreach for Toni’s Kitchen. “Toni’s Kitchen is a place where we always welcome families in our community, and we are thrilled to be able to help spread the joy and fellowship of the holiday season with this unique event.”

Toni’s Kitchen provides food to our neighbors in need in ways that respect their dignity, improve health and foster independence. We use a community partner model to enhance access and connections to programs and resources that encourage healthy, independent lives.
