Township Of Montclair: The Section 8 Program And How It Works

The Montclair Section 8 Housing Office will host an orientation seminar to provide information about the Housing Choice Voucher Program. The seminar is open to landlords currently in the program, community advocates, concerned citizens, and property owners who may potentially want to participate in the program – this orientation will not be for individuals who want to apply for the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

The orientation seminar will take place Wednesday, December 1, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., in Municipal Council Chambers, first floor, 205 Claremont Avenue.

Attendees will learn about program eligibility, landlord responsibilities, terminations, rental guidelines, tenant responsibilities, and inspections. Attendees will be able to ask any questions they may have about the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

Please note: facemasks will be required and social distancing protocols will be in place.
