Truck, Trailer With Expensive Tools Stolen In Montclair: Police
The truck and trailer were both recovered – but in different towns, Montclair police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Someone stole a truck and trailer with expensive tools inside from a work site in Montclair last week, police say.
The Montclair Police Department released the following details about the theft, which took place on North Fullerton Avenue on Jan. 16:
“The complainant reported that he had just pulled up to a work site and was unloading tools from a trailer. While walking from the rear yard back to the trailer, he observed his truck and the trailer drive off south on North Fullerton Avenue. His truck was described as a green Toyota Tundra. The trailer contained approximately $5,000 worth of tools.”
The trailer was recovered later in the day in Clifton. The truck was recovered the following day in New York City, police said.
