NJ STATE BUDGET BOOST
MSU administrators said the school got a boost from the latest state budget, which includes an extra $3 million in aid, raising the average allocation per student from $3,000 to $3,750.
Administrators also said that state lawmakers “showed their support for Montclair’s work with Bloomfield College” by allocating $12.5 million to the state’s only four-year Predominantly Black Institution – helping to ensure that the financially struggling school can survive the upcoming academic year.
