Uber Releases 2017 New Year’s Eve Driver Totals For New Jersey

How many Garden State drivers utilized Uber to ferry around revelers this New Year’s Eve? On Tuesday, the ride share company released statistics from the 2017 New Year’s Eve celebration in New Jersey, stating that 13,555 drivers utilized its services during this year’s holiday.

“New Year’s Eve is one of our busiest nights of the year,” Uber stated. “Last New Year's Eve, drivers provided more than five million rides globally.”

Here are some other quick stats from NYE 2017, according to Uber:

• The Garden State’s biggest Uber party hopper this year took seven rides throughout the evening
• 1,171 riders arrived just in time to ring in the New Year, getting out of their Ubers within nine minutes of midnight
• 17,544 riders took uberPOOL and/or used our split fare feature when heading to and from their celebrations
• 712 riders used Uber’s “Share Status” feature to let their friends/family know they were on their way
