Unattended Candle May Have Caused Fire At Montclair Home
A fire at a home on Upper Mountain Avenue in Montclair may have been caused by an unattended candle, authorities said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A recent fire at a home on Upper Mountain Avenue in Montclair may have been caused by an unattended candle, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the fire took place on Sept. 25 at a two-story home.
Montclair firefighters and police arrived on the scene to find flames on the back porch of the home. They put out the fire, eventually deeming it “not suspicious.”
