Veteran Coach Leads Successful MKA Softball

...Former Montclair High standout guides Cougars to strong 2026 season

Montclair Kimberley Academy's successful softball program continues to be guided by longtime head coach Jessica Sarfati of Montclair who recently guided the Cougars to a strong 14-8 season which included winning the Super Essex Conference-Colonial Division championship with a perfect 9-0 record.

Sarfati's young team reached the state prep B-Division Tournament final for a third straight season before finishing as the runner-up to Gill St. Bernard's, the same team it defeated for the 2025 prep B crown.

The future looks bright for Sarfati and Co. with MKA expected to add several young and talented new additions in 2027 while also returning most of its lineup from this spring, including standouts such as juniors Eva Sieger (shortstop), Gabby Ladd (second base), Liv Healey (pitcher) and Annie Barrett (outfield).
