Weichert's Upper Montclair Office To Host Food Drive To Benefit Human Needs Food Pantry Through March 17

John Geaney, manager of Weichert, Realtors’ Upper Montclair sales office, announced that his office will be joining forces with the Human Needs Food Pantry to help collect items for those in need.

Now through March 17th, the office will be collecting non-perishable food items that have not passed their expiration date such as soups, tuna, peanut butter, spaghetti and cereal, as well as personal care items including diapers/pull-ups, baby wipes, unopened toiletries. Gently used blankets, towels, sheets and dog and cat food will also be accepted. The items can be dropped off at the Weichert Upper Montclair office located at 272 Bellevue Avenue between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

“We are honored to participate in a program that makes such a powerful impact in our local community,” said Geaney. “In line with the Weichert culture, we are grateful to be able to make a difference for these families and individuals in need.”

The Human Needs Food Pantry, a non-profit, privately funded organization, provides food, clothing and other services to people in need who live in Montclair and neighboring communities in Essex County. The pantry provides over 3,000 bags of groceries each month and once a month, provide free clothing for men, women and children, as well as household goods to their clients.
