MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair State University is seeing “unprecedented” growth in recent years, with the school announcing its largest-ever class – for the fourth year in a row. But with this rising student enrollment comes a big worry, a report says: Where are they going to park?

As of the first day of classes, the institution has welcomed 4,548 first-year students to its Montclair campus – as well as 800 students to Bloomfield College of Montclair State University – for the start of the fall 2024 semester, which pushes the total university enrollment to 23,546 students.
