Record 16 DECA Students Qualify For Nationals

16 out of 80 can move on, breaking a school record.

A total of 16 Montville students will move on to the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida after placing in the State DECA competition in Cherry Hill last week.

The Montville students moving on represent a record for the high school’s program. 80 students out of its 215-member club in Cherry Hill represented the high school.

“It’s an unbelievable accomplishment that I’m very proud to part of,” Heather Wolf, MTHS DECA President said. “We were well prepared by our business classes at MTHS and now our hard work pays off with a trip to Disney. It’s all very exciting."
