2.5-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Morris County
U.S. Geological Survey confirmed earthquake struck Bernardsville.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 2.5-magnitude earthquake struck Morris County Friday morning.
The USGS reported the earthquake struck in Bernardsville at about 4 a.m.
The Morris County Office of Emergency Management said the county’s 911 center started to receive calls at approximately 3:42 a.m. this morning from residents of Morristown, Morris Township, Randolph, Mendham Township, Mendham Borough, Chester Township, and Chester Borough.

No injuries or structural issues were reported, authorities said.
Many of the callers reported that they felt their house shake, the OEM said.
