
MONTVILLE, NJ - The Morris County Board of Freeholders honored nine new Montville Eagle Scouts at the board’s Jan. 13 meeting, lauding the members of Boy Scout Troop 74 for their hard work and positive efforts in their community.
The freeholders presented certificates of achievement to Montville Eagle Scouts Jonathan Abramson, Casey Hojecki, Justin Huang, Max Kamper, Matthew Lehner, Mark Romeo, Kyle Ross, Andrew Rycharski, and Jaden Vnencak.
The scouts were joined by Troop 74 assistant scoutmasters Ron Rycharski and Michael Abramson

In presenting the certificates, the freeholders praised the scouts for their willingness to help others and for completing their respective service projects that earned them the Eagle Scout rank.
“We are honored to present certificates to these young men who are future leaders of our county, state and nation,’’ said Freeholder Director Kathy DeFillippo. “The projects these outstanding young people must complete to become an Eagle Scout take a great deal time and commitment on their part.

“These young men represent the best in the young people of Morris County, and we are extremely proud of them,’’ added Deputy Freeholder Director Hank Lyon, who along with Freeholder Tom Mastrangelo, is a Montville resident.
