Montville's Free Summer Concert Series Returns With 9-Show Lineup

From classic rock to country to R&B, the nine-show series kicks off July 1.

MONTVILLE, NJ - Montville Township Parks & Recreation has announced its 2026 Summer Concert Series lineup, featuring nine outdoor performances from July 1 through Aug. 26.

The free series opens July 1 with The Kootz Band, performing classic pop, rock, soul and R&B blues. On July 8, Street Hassle brings a powerful horn band set of classic rock, blues, Motown and pop, drawing from Chicago, The Rolling Stones, Dusty Springfield and Tina Turner.

Local act Five Wheel Drive — fronted by Montville resident Rich Parisi — takes the stage July 15 for a high-energy party-rock set. The Glenn Roberts Band, a NJ-based country act blending modern country, country rock and southern rock, performs July 22.

3 Shades of Green closes out July on the 29th with classic rock from the 1960s through the 1990s.

August kicks off Aug. 5 with Arena Relive The Rock, a tribute act covering Boston, Journey, Kansas, Heart, Pat Benatar, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Rush and Foreigner. The Mighty Spectrum follows Aug. 12 with timeless classics from Chicago, The Doors, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, The Allman Brothers and Van Morrison.

Lost in Place performs Aug. 19, drawing from its repertoire of rock and R&B that the band has been recreating since 1998. The series closes Aug. 26 with Three Day Weekend, a classic and party rock band.
