Montville's Garbage Collection Will Be Earlier Due To Extreme Heat This Week

MONTVILLE, NJ — Due to forecasted extreme heat in Montville this week, garbage collection will start earlier than usual.

Garbage collection will begin pickups earlier than usual at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1; Thursday, July 2; and Friday, July 3.

Residents are encouraged to place garbage and recycling containers at the curb the night before their scheduled collection day or before 5:30 a.m. to ensure pickup.

There is no change to the garbage and recycling collection schedule on July 4.
