• Architect to Montville Twp Committee: Establish a Plan Before Deciding on Condurso's Restorations (tapinto.net) — Montville officials are weighing which buildings to demolish or preserve at the 29-acre former Condurso's farm on River Road, after an architect urged them to set a clear vision first. The Township Committee approved tearing down 10 unsafe, non-historic structures while leaving key greenhouses and the historic barn for future planning. Residents are being promised a public process to help decide whether the site becomes a park, gardens, classrooms, or another community use.
   

• Madison Police Chief: ARRIVE Together Has Drastically Reduced Use of Force on Mental Health Calls (tapinto.net) — Montville is one of several Morris County towns using the ARRIVE Together program, which pairs police with mental health clinicians on crisis calls. Madison's police chief reports force is now used far less often in these situations, and county officials say thousands of residents have already been helped. For Montville residents, it means specialized support is available when mental or behavioral health emergencies arise.
