MONTVILLE, NJ — A Montville Eagle Scout has completed a special project honoring America's 250th anniversary.
Jake Susnosky dedicated a commemorative bench outside VFW Post 5481, according to a Montville Township Facebook announcement.
The bench reads, "Honoring those who defend our freedom through service and sacrifice."
According to Montville Memorial VFW Post 5481, the project was designed to provide a quiet place for reflection near the Community Center complex.
The veterans organization also contributed a donation toward the project.
