McCormack Nets 3, But Montville Falls to Glen Rock
Mustangs unable to rally after early deficit.
The Montville High boys lacrosse team fell to 1-2 on the season, with a 10-7 loss to Glen Rock on Thursday.

Montville fell into an early 4-0 hole, and despite numerous comeback attempts, could not overcome the early deficit. Every time the Mustangs would answer, Glen Rock would as well. After Montville cut the lead to just 5-3 going into the half, the Panthers responded with two quick goals. The Mustangs rallied late to make it 10-7, but Glen Rock held on, to win the early season Rizk Conference game.

MUSTANG OF THE GAME
Brian McCormack—The Junior paced Montville with three goals (two of which were unassisted) and an assist. He scored two of those goals less than a minute apart in the third quarter as the Mustangs mounted a comeback.

OTHER KEY PERFORMANCES
Goalie Patrick Johnson came up with 11 total saves on the day. Nick Mayse finished with two goals for the Mustangs in the loss.
