Burglars Posing As JCP&L Workers Target Montville Home: Police
The men got into the home by claiming to be utilities workers, police said.

MONTVILLE, NJ— Men posing as JCP&L workers burglarized a Montville home yesterday, police said in an alert.
A man posing as a utilities worker went to a Pine Brook Road home on Thursday, telling the homeowner a tree knocked out power to the area and he needed to check the breakers. Once the homeowner and the man went upstairs, the homeowner heard noises downstairs, and found a second man in the home.
Police believe the second man committed a theft, but did not say what had been taken.
