Early Dismissal called for Montville Township Public Schools

Threat of blizzard prompts district to call an early dismissal for Monday, January 26. Schools will follow "Emergency Dismissal Schedule."

The Montville Township Public Schools (MTHS) will have an early dismissal Monday, January 26, 2015.
The district’s “Emergency Dismissal Schedule” is as follows:

  • Montville Township High School will dismiss at 11:25 AM.
  • Cedar Hill, Hilldale, Valley View, William Mason, and Woodmont Elementary Schools will dismiss at 12:10 PM.
  • Robert R. Lazar Middle School will dismiss at 12:40 PM.

No lunch will be served in any Montville Township Public School on Monday, January 26.

Due to the predicted severity of the storm, M.E.D.L.C. will dismiss at 3:00 PM.

The MTHS mid-term exam schedule has been revised. Students are advised to check the high school webpage for a revised mid-term schedule.

According to a recorded message sent by Superintendent Dr. Paul Fried to parents, students, staff and faculty, if weather conditions worsen overnight, the district may choose to make additional changes to the Monday, January 26 schedule. Such changes will be announced by 5:30 AM on Monday, January 26.
