Free Ravioli? Conturso's Opens New Pasta Bar

on Main Road in the Towaco section of town has announced it has opened a pasta bar in partnership with Fontanarosa's Gourmet Specialty Foods.

To promote the venture, The Pasta Bar at Conturso's is offering free pasta and ravioli.

From 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday people who visit the business can get a free entree.

Anthony Fontanarosa, who owns Fontanarosa's in Totowa, said they're trying to get fans on the pasta bar's Facebook page and promote the business.

"It's a unique idea," he said of the pasta bar. "You can come in, sit down or take out a gourmet meal featuring four fresh pasta or seven different ravioli entrees with your choice of eight different sauces all for under $10. For an extra $2.50, you can add different toppings like meatball or grilled chicken, even shrimp, just to name a few."

Regarding the promotion, he said it's eat in or take out, one per person, while supplies last.
