Friends for 50 years having lunch at The Florham Park Diner on May 5 are Eleanor and Bill Sterling, Elaine Bergman (Ehrlich) and Bonnie Winter. Elaine and Ellie served on the Montville Township Board of Education and were active in The League of Woman Voters. Elaine helped to bring Adult Education to Montville and founded with Sheila Grant and Sandy Russell a Saturday Enrichment Program for students in art, science and drama. They met Bonnie, the wife of the late Dr. Robert Winter when he was in his first Montville position as Assistant Principal of Montville High School. Ultimately Dr. Winter became the Montville Superintendent of Schools.
