Learn About Constitution, Donate a Bike on Saturday

Five things to know this weekend.

There are a few events going on in town this weekend, including one of the biggest fundraisers the town will see this year in the Relay For Life. There will also be a constitutional seminar and a bike drive.

Here are five things to know this weekend:

1. It's not too late to be a part of , which will benefit the American Cancer Society. Even if you haven't already signed up, you pay $10 for admission and enjoy music, dancing and more. The event begins at 4 p.m. on Friday and runs through the night until 6 a.m. Saturday morning.

2. The Montville Area Tea Party is presenting a seminar about the U.S. constitution from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 at the Senior House on Main Road. The presentation will be given by the National Center for Constitutional Studies. Admission is $25, which includes lunch and a study guide. Young adults ages 16 to 23 can get in for $15.00.

3. The Girl Scouts will be collecting used bicycles at the Cedar Hill Elementary School from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday. The bikes will be used at a day camp this summer.

4. According to Weather.com, the heat should subside this weekend and storms are likely throughout the entire weekend, beginning Friday night.

5. If you're out of work and will be job hunting this weekend, Kinnelon Patch is with Sleepy's that involves, well, sleeping. The "Snooze Director" gets to sleep, research sleep trends, and blog about the whole thing.
