Letter To The Editor: Write-in Gary Lewis on Tuesday

Resident urges voters to write in Gary Lewis for the Republican primary.

To the Editor:

Enough is Enough! Montville Deserves a Fourth Choice

I am personally sick and tired of all the mudslinging and negative campaigning being done by the Sandham and Daughtry campaign.  I believe it is an embarrassment to our community and to members of the Republican party.  That is why I think that voters deserve a fourth choice in tomorrow’s Republican primary and I am encouraging people NOT to bullet vote but to use their second vote by writing in GARY LEWIS.

It has held that it doesn't matter what they do, at least one of them will win a spot on the Republican ballot.  I say, let’s not allow that to happen.  That is the reason I am doing a write in vote for Gary Lewis.  I am encouraging others to do the same.  Many of you know Gary or, if not, may be familiar with him from his primary run for Township Committee last year.  Gary is an extremely qualified individual, who has REAL INTEGRITY and his qualifications, I believe, far exceed those of either Daughtry or Sandham.  I consider Gary a friend and I am confident that Gary would be honored to serve if elected.

I encourage all Republicans and unaffiliated voters to get out on Tuesday and vote in the primary election.  And I ask you to please write in a vote for Gary Lewis, joining me in sending a message to Messrs Daughtry and Sandham telling them that we the citizens of Montville Township do not approve of their actions during this campaign.  If you agree with me, please pass this message to write in a vote for Gary Lewis on to your friends and family in Montville.

If at the poll on Tuesday you do not know how to write in a vote, the poll workers will gladly instruct you on how to do that.
