Montville Board Of Health To Discuss School Nursing, Health Clinics Monday

MONTVILLE, NJ — Montville residents interested in local health issues will have a chance to hear what’s coming up — and weigh in themselves — when the township’s Board of Health meets Monday night.

The Board of Health meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 195 Changebridge Road.

Among the items up for consideration are a resolution appointing a Board of Health secretary and another concerning nursing services for nonpublic schools in Montville Township, according to the agenda.

The board is also scheduled to review Health Department monthly activity reports covering March through August.

Residents will have two opportunities for public comment, with the agenda inviting discussion of both items that are on the agenda and those that are not.

Several upcoming community health programs are also included in the Health Officer Reports. Flu clinics are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 2, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Senior House and from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Town Hall. A township health fair and SMAC clinic is set for Saturday, Oct. 17, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Montville Senior House, followed by a rabies clinic Friday, Nov. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Montville Firehouse.

The township also lists Monday’s meeting on its municipal calendar. Residents can find the current agenda and check for future agendas, minutes or any available meeting media under the “Board of Health” section of the township’s Agenda Center.
