Montville Bridge Lane Closed For Emergency Repairs

MONTVILLE, NJ— A Montville bridge will see emergency lane closures for the next month as repairs are made, the N.J. Department of Transportation said.

The eastbound lane of the Route 46 bridge that crosses the Passaic River will be closed for approximately one month. An inspection showed problems with bridge bearings that required immediate repairs.

Message boards and signs will be posted to alert drivers to the closure.
