Montville Pizzeria & Restaurant Offers Quick, Cheap, Good Italian

Montville Pizzeria & Restaurant offers many Italian standards, from soup specials like pasta fagioli to lasagna, baked ziti and manicotti. There is, of course, plenty of pizza, and the options aren't just plain and pepperoni. They also offer tomato and basil slices, and Sicilian pies.

The pizza crust is both crispy and chewy, but not soggy—even the plain slices retain their crunch despite a hearty amount of oil, cheese and sauce.

Besides pizza, the cozy pizza shop offers options like veal cutlet parmigiana subs ($7.00), sausage and peppers subs ($6.00), baked rigatoni with mushrooms and eggplant ($7.50) and cold sandwiches with plenty of choices of meats and cheeses.

Appetizers include fried calamari (large, $9.00; small, $5.00), mussels marinara with hot or sweet sauce ($6.75) and a regular salad ($3.75).
