Montville Police Seek Driver Who Struck Cedar Hill School Sign On Pine Brook Road
The hit-and-run happened the night of Tuesday; detectives are reviewing surveillance video and urging the driver to come forward.
MONTVILLE, NJ - Montville police are searching for a driver who struck the electronic sign at Cedar Hill School on Pine Brook Road on the night of May 19 and fled the scene.
The Detective Bureau is reviewing surveillance footage from the school and neighboring properties. Police are urging anyone who knows the driver to encourage that person to come forward voluntarily.
"It would be in the best interest to tell the driver to come forward, rather than being charged with additional charges," police said in a statement. "In due time, this driver will be caught."
