Montville Recreation

The Montville Recreation Department will be sponsoring LEGO ENGINEERING CLASSES - Peers, Gears & Engineers by Technology Toolbox for Grades 1 to 5.

Our young Engineers will have the opportunity to explore, investigate and solve problems using Levers, Gears, Pulleys and Wheels and Axles in this exciting hands-on class that uses LEGO Educational materials. Children will be introduced to simple machines in each 1 hour class. In true engineering style, time will be allotted to make design improvements to the object we build, allowing the children to bring their creative genius to the surface. SPACE IS LIMITED—MAX of 8 STUDENTS!

Classes take place on Wednesdays: January 17, 24, 31, February 7, 14 & 21.

Grades 1-2 go from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and Grades 3-5 are from 5:45-6:45pm.

Program is held at the Montville Community Park Field House located at 130 Change Bridge Road in Montville.
