TENNIS LESSONS for Ages 3 through Adults for Beginner & Intermediate Level Players

The Montville Recreation Department is sponsoring TENNIS LESSONS for Ages 3 through Adults for Beginner & Intermediate Level Players.
Following developmental curriculums and guidelines laid out by the USTA, US Sports Institute is offering a selection of classes for all ability levels. Using racquets, balls and courts appropriately sized for players based on their age, participants will experience success and enjoyment from start to finish.
TENNIS SQUIRTS: Squirts Tennis is a fun-filled learning adventure that introduces children to the world of tennis. Topics covered include boundaries, balance, hand-eye coordination, racquet skills, and grip. Each session is taught through structured activities, fun games, and scrimmages designed to ensure learning and most importantly: fun, fun, fun!

FOUNDATION TENNIS: Foundation Tennis is designed to introduce beginners and those with some experience to the fundamentals of tennis. Each session will focus on a specific skill including stroke technique, serving, court awareness, and rallying.
ADULT TENNIS: Regardless of previous experience, players will learn the fundamentals in stroke production, court movement and footwork, in a low pressured, yet energetic environment.

Players must provide their own racquet for Foundation and Development Level Programs .
Classes are held on Saturdays: April 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12, 19, June 2 & 9 (No: 5/26) - If Needed: Make-Up is 6/16.

Program is held at the Montville Twp. High School Tennis Courts located at 100 Horseneck Road in Montville.
Instruction is provided by First Play Sports Staff
The cost is $169.00 per person per 8 (eight) week session.
