FORENSICS INTRO classes (Competitive Speech and Debate) for students in Grades 6th-8th, Beginner & Advanced Levels

The Montville Recreation Department will be sponsoring FORENSICS INTRO classes (Competitive Speech and Debate) for students in Grades 6th-8th, Beginner & Advanced Levels.

This program will focus on the techniques of effective public speaking in the areas of oral interpretation, oratorical, interpretation, extemporaneous and impromptu speaking, as well as public forum debate.

Program is held on Tuesdays: March 12, 19, 26, April 2, 9, 23, 30 & May 7 (No: 4/16) from 3:45pm to 5:45pm.

Classes take place at Montville Twp. High School Media Room & Class Room 301 located at 100 Horseneck Road in Montville.

Instruction is provided by Mr. Mark Iannelli. He has been working with the Forensics team for the past four years. He is now the head coach of the Forensics team. Mark teaches upperclassmen English at Montville Township High School as well as the Speech & Debate elective. Students from the award winning team will be acting as seminar interns.

The cost is $135.00 per person for the 8 (eight) week session.
