Montville Recreation

The Montville Recreation Department is sponsoring an “IN-TOWN” BASKETBALL PROGRAM for the Winter 2019-2020 Season for Grades 3rd to 8th. For MONTVILLE RESIDENTS ONLY! Players will be placed on teams according to grade and gender. Note: Bronco Traveling Team players are ineligible.

Adjustable baskets (8’ to 9.5’) will be used at the elementary schools, 10’ baskets at the Lazar & HS gyms. *MANDATORY PLAYER EVAL CLINICS FOR GIRLS/BOYS GRADES 5TH—8TH (10/17 thru 10/20).

Practices and games will take place at the elementary schools for all in Grades 3-5 and 6th Grade Girls. 6th Grade Boys and all in Grades 7-8 take place at the High School and/or Lazar Middle School gyms.

Practices start Mid-November, TBD. Games run January through early March. Boys, Gr 3-5 and Girls, Gr. 3-6 Weeknight Games & Practices will be between 6:30pm & 8:30pm. Boys, Gr 6-8 & Girls, Gr 7-8. Weeknight Games & Practices will be between 6:15pm & 9:15pm. Boys, Gr 6-8 & Girls, Gr 7-8 Weekend Games & Practices will be between 9:00am & 6:00pm.

The cost is $110.00 (additional siblings are $100.00 each). Basketball jerseys will be supplied for all participants!

LATE FEE as of OCTOBER 7th, the registration fee will be $130.00 per child with NO GUARANTEE of team placement.
