The Montville Recreation Department will be sponsoring a BIDDY BASKETBALL program for Grades K-2, Boys & Girls.
KINDERGARTEN & 1st GRADE program will emphasize fun, full participation, and instruction in a safe setting. Fundamental skills will be emphasized and 8 foot rims will be used to promote success for beginning level youth athletes.
2nd GRADE program will consist of 15 minutes of skill instruction. Then a game will be played with a scoreboard and a referee. Teams will change every week and no standings will be kept. The referee/instructor will teach the children as they officiate so that kids can learn the rules of the game and be better prepared for the following year of 3rd grade recreation basketball. Kids love to play and this will be a great initiation into organized basketball. We anticipate a great deal of fun and improvement from week 1 to week 7.

Program takes place at the Lazar Gymnasium located at 123 Change Bridge Road in Montville.
Classes take place on Sundays: January 5, 12, 26, February 2, 9, 23 & March 1 (No: 1/19 & 2/16).

Grades K-1 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm and the Grade 2 from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
Instruction is provided by Program Director, Ken Ferrare and the DST Basketball Staff. Ken is a Montville resident and has been running award winning basketball programs in town for the past 14 years.
The cost is $105.00 per child for the 7 (seven) week program.
