The Montville Recreation Department is sponsoring BIDDY BASKETBALL programs for Grades K-2, Boys & Girls. NOTE: Program is LIMITED to 60 participants
This program will emphasize teaching the fundamental skills necessary to be successful in an organized full court competitive basketball game. The first few sessions will emphasize dribbling, pivoting, triple threat position, athletic defensive stance and footwork, and other key team concepts for beginners to learn. A plan is in place where the last 2-3 weeks will consist of actual full court game scrimmages. We anticipate a great deal of fun and improvement from week 1 to week 7. All athletes should wear sneakers, shorts and a t shirt, and bring a water bottle. Lower hoops will be utilized as needed.
Clinics take place at the Lazar Middle School Gymnasium located at 123 Change Bridge Road in Montville.

Program runs on Sundays: January 9, 23, 30, February 6, 13, 27 & March 6 (No: 1/16 & 2/20).

Program is directed by Mr. Ken Ferrare and the DST Basketball Staff. Ken is a Montville resident and has been running award winning basketball programs in town for the past 16 years.
The cost is $125.00 per 7 (seven) week session.
