Montville Recreation Department & the Montville Twp. Ice Hockey Association are sponsoring THE MONTVILLE CUP Street Hockey Program for Grade

The Montville Recreation Department & the Montville Twp. Ice Hockey Association are sponsoring THE MONTVILLE CUP Street Hockey Program for Grades 1-5 (Boys & Girls) —Students will be matched with similar age and skills.

Each grammar school will represent a team. There will be five (5) instructional sessions/practices. These sessions will begin with basic stick and puck skills, then move onto passing, positioning and plays. The last session will be a “fun day” round robin tournament. The teams will compete for the coveted Montville Cup, a trophy that will be given to the winning team to be displayed at their school until the next season!

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT (Some loaner equipment will be available.): It is recommended that players bring their own helmets with a cage (i.e. hockey, lacrosse, or football) and gloves.

Program takes place at the Masar Park Roller Rink located at 40 Boonton Avenue in Montville.

Clinics take place on Sundays: April 3, 10, May 1, 15 & 22 (No: 4/17, 4/24 & 5/8) from 10:30am to 11:30am.

The Tournament will be held on Sunday: June 5th from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Instruction is provided by Montville Twp. High School Varsity Ice Hockey Players.

The cost is $80.00 per person for the 6 (six) week program.
