ROLLER HOCKEY & STREET HOCKEY program for Grades 1st through 8th (Boys & Girls) in the Spring

The Montville Recreation Department will be sponsoring a ROLLER HOCKEY & STREET HOCKEY program for Grades 1st through 8th (Boys & Girls) in the Spring. Students will be broken down according to age & ability.
This is an opportunity to play in-town, non-checking street and roller hockey games in Montville Township. Instructional Clinics and/or Pick-up Games will be played Sunday mornings for six weeks.
Players will be responsible for providing their own equipment. Helmets with face mask, mouth guard, elbow pads, shin guards, hockey gloves, skates and a stick are mandatory (shoulder pads are optional). Boys MUST wear protective athletic supporters! (Some loaner equipment will be available.)

Program takes place at the Masar Park Roller Rink located at 40 Boonton Ave in Boonton.
Play takes place on Sundays: April 23, 30, May 7, 21, June 4 & 11.

Grades 1st through 4th play from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
Grades 5th through 8th play from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.
Depending on the skill level of the participants, the program format will be a combination of hockey/skating basics and controlled scrimmage games accommodating participants interested in either Street or Roller Hockey.
The cost is $40.00 per person.
