The Montville Recreation Department will be sponsoring BIDDY BASKETBALL programs for Grades K-2, Boys & Girls.
KINDERGARTEN & 1st GRADE program will emphasize fun, full participation, and instruction in a safe setting. Fundamental skills will be emphasized and 8 foot rims will be used to promote success for beginning level youth athletes.
2nd GRADE program will consist of 15 minutes of skill instruction. Then a game will be played with a scoreboard and a referee. Teams will change every week and no standings will be kept. The referee/instructor will teach the children as they officiate so that kids can learn the rules of the game and be better prepared for the following year of 3rd grade recreation basketball. Kids love to play and this will be a great initiation into organized basketball. We anticipate a great deal of fun and improvement from week 1 to week 7.

All students should wear sneakers, shorts and a t shirt, and bring a water bottle.
Program is held at the Lazar Gymnasium located at 123 Change Bridge Road in Montville.

Program takes place on Sundays: January 21, 28, February 4, 11, 28, March 4 & 11 (No:2/18).
Grades K to 1st plays from 2:30pm to 3:3pm.
Grade 2 plays from 3:30pm to 4:3pm.
Program Director is Ken Ferrare along with DST Basketball Staff. Ken is a Montville resident and has been running award winning basketball programs in town for the past 12 years.
The cost is $105.00 per person for the 7 (seven) week session.
