Montville Reformed Church Brings Nativity to Life

Story of the birth of Jesus presented with realism and beauty under the night sky.

A Live Nativity Program was held under the stars at the Montville Reformed Church on Saturday night. Rev. Charles Bigelow said members of his church have maintained this annual tradition for 22 years.

Judy Slegona said the project was originally spearheaded by Dorothy Puentes, a member who recently passed away. Puentes wrote the script and got everyone involved. Ginny Cook made many of the costumes.

"If you're in this once, you're in it for life," Slegona said.
