Montville Township Encourages Residents To Apply For Home Improvement Program
Officials say there is no cost to apply.
MONTVILLE, NJ — Montville Township is encouraging eligible homeowners to apply for its Home Improvement Program.
The program provides up to $25,000 in home repairs through a 0% interest, 10-year forgivable loan.

The program is available to township residents who own and occupy their homes and meet household income requirements. Eligible repairs include roofs, foundations, heating, electrical work, plumbing, windows, insulation and more.

Officials say there is no cost to apply, no monthly payment, and participation does not affect applicants' credit scores. Repairs are overseen by a professional inspector.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents can apply online at www.hip.caph.net or call (609) 664-2769, ext. 9 for more information or assistance. Funding is also available for rental properties, with landlords encouraged to call for eligibility details.
