Montville Township Will Use $3M For Slew Of Municipal Upgrades

Around $450,000 will be used for the Konner Avenue improvement project.

MONTVILLE, NJ — The Montville Township Committee adopted a number of ordinances that will finance street and infrastructure projects in the community.

Around $3 million will go toward municipal upgrades. A portion of the funds will go towards roadway and pedestrian safety initiatives.

  • $647,000 will go toward road paving and drainage on Upper Mountain Avenue, Barney Lane, Redding Place, and Forrest Hill Road,
  • $450,000 for the Konner Avenue improvement project.
  • $200,000 for Changebridge Road and Woodmont Road sidewalk projects and a new crosswalk to Brittany Road.
  • $150,000 for school crossing upgrades.
  • $220,000 for library parking lot lighting
  • $195,000 for new police SUVs
  • $170,000 for mobile cameras and a Next Generation 9-1-1 system.
  • $42,000 for mobile data terminals and radios.
