Montville Track Club had a spectacular season with great performances from every athlete on the team this past spring. The team improved every meet they competed in and were the talk of many meets by officials, other teams, other coaches and parents of athletes. The season was an amazing experience for all the athletes who got to learn and try new events every meet such as hurdles, high jump, turbo javelin, and longer races such as the 3000m which are not available at many youth meets. The team not only excelled in all events but there were all smiles at every meet and practice.

As for meets, the team’s success in the preliminary qualifying meet for the state championship on May 22 was a highlight and an unparalleled accomplishment since over half the team qualified for the state championship, which was held in Asbury Park over two days on June 11 and 12.
