Morris County Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Girl, 13

A resident of Budd Lake is being held on $300,000 bail in the Morris County Correctional Facility after being brought up on charges of sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl.

According to dailyrecord.com, Hector Acosta, 43, of Budd Lake was charged with aggravated sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly molesting and touching intimate parts on the girl in December of 2009.

Acosta was entrusted with the girl’s care at the time of the incident, the report said. Acosta’s bail does not have a 10-percent option, but if he is release, will be prohibited from contact with the victim or anyone under age 16, the report said.
