Morris County Man Jailed for Knocking Out Woman in Front of Kids
Budd Lake resident slapped victim, then punched her out inside home while children were present, report says.

A Mt. Olive man had his bailed raised from $25,000 to $35,000 in court this week after prosecutors say he slapped a woman inside her car, then punched her in the face inside her home, hard enough to knock her unconscious for a period of time.
According to nj.com, Javier Enamorado-Zavala, 24, of Budd Lake is charged with leaving an unconscious victim without aid, child abuse and simple assault.
Enamorado-Zavala and the female victim got into an argument regarding his alcohol drinking early Saturday morning, the report says, when he slapped her in the face in the car. When the two got inside the victim’s home, Enamorado-Zavala then struck the victim in the face hard enough to knock her unconscious in the presence of children, the report says.

The victim called police later in the morning after she awoke from the knockout, had an eye swollen shut, dried blood in her mouth and head pain, the report said. Enamorado-Zavala was nowhere to be found and left after the punch, the report said.
The accused is a native of Honduras, not an American citizen, and could face deportation, the report said.
