Morris County Superintendent Competing In Nathan's Hot Dog-Eating Contest

This superintendent has an unusual hidden talent: hot dog eating.

MONTVILLE, NJ — Dr. Rene Rovtar is best known in Montville as the Superintendent of Schools, but she's got a serious hidden talent: hot dog eating.

That's right! Rovtar qualified for the 100th Annual Nathan’s Famous 4th of July International Hot Dog-Eating Contest after eating an impressive seven hot dogs at the Charlotte, North Carolina qualifiers.

"This isn't a challenge for me. I'm a tiny person; don't think tiny people can't eat mass quantities of food. I can," Rovtar said. The Basking Ridge resident joked that she off-sets her large servings of hot dogs by running marathons.
