New Jersey Ad Club Recognizes Local Business

Skyline New Jersey won three awards.

Pine Brook-based Skyline New Jersey took home three honors, one first place and two second place, at the 42nd annual Jersey Awards. The New Jersey Ad Club sponsored the event, which took place in June.

Scott Price, President of Skyline New Jersey, was excited at his company's recognition from the club.

"To be recognized as a leader in the community, its really fabulous," he said. "We take it seriously. We seek to win."

The company, which specializes in modular exhibits and portable displays for trade shows, took first and second place in the small exhibit display category, and second place in the large exhibit display category.  Small exhibits measure 200 square feet or less, while large exhibits are 400 square feet or more.

According to Price, small exhibits can be as simple tabletop displays, while larger exhibits can fill a significant portion of a showroom.

"Trade shows are our business," he said. "A client will come in looking for a trade show booth, and they will have web and ads. We have to try to integrate all that, integrate what the client is doing."

Skyline New Jersey has done work for companies large and small, from well known firms like Prudential insurance and BlackRock investment management, to smaller scale regional organizations. Price hopes that the awards will bring additional business to his company.

"This is really something you want to do well in," he said. "We are motivated by client jobs, so it's good to have an opportunity to be recognized for the work you've done.

Skyline won two awards from the NJAdClub in 2008 and, according to Price, has won several awards in past years.

"We're perennial winners," he said.

The company has been located in Pine Brook for 11 years. Price is pleased with the location.

"[Pine Brook] is centralized, good access to highways," he said. "We store a lot of displays here for clients, so shipping is important. We have an exclusive relationship to this part of New Jersey."

According to Price, Skyline New Jersey does all its graphic in house. Diane Sroka designed all the three winning displays.
