Man Faces Drug Charges After Found Sleeping in Car
Police blotter: Montville resident charged with DUI.
A Pennsylvania man found sleeping in his vehicle in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot on Route 46 led to drug possession charges, Montville Police said Tuesday.
On May 13 just before 8 a.m., police found Matthew Krolick, 18, sleeping in his car in the parking lot of the on Route 46, police said.
A 17-year-old female passenger was also reportedly in the vehicle, Capt. Ed Rosellini said. After finding a plastic bag in the door, the police reported that the car's driver admitted that the bag contained marijuana and Krolick was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, Rosellini said.

Other Montville arrests:
Raymond Hinkle Jr., 63, of Montville, was charged with a DUI, failure to maintain lane, and careless driving after a Montville officer stopped him on Tuesday, May 17, around 11 p.m., according to Rosellini.

Rosellini said the officer reported that he witnessed Hinkle's vehicle being driven erratically, and detected the odor of alcohol from the vehicle after pulling Hinkle over. The officer performed a sobriety test, transported Hinkle to headquarters, and used a Breathalyzer before issuing the summonses, Rosellini said.
